Plan a trip to a pump station, find out about the city election process, or use the tool trailer for a park beautification project – these are just a few of the free resources and educational programs available through the City of Allen and related organizations. A complete resource book will be available at the upcoming Educator’s Expo on September 25 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Ron Gentry Training Center, Central Fire Station, 310 Century Parkway.
The Educator’s Expo is an annual event hosted by City staff to provide information about all the programs, projects and resources available to anyone that plans educational activities. The Expo also provides the ability to meet and visit with program representatives.

The 2008 Education and Outreach Guide features additional programs and resources and will be posted online following the Educator’s Expo. Copies of the 2008 guide, resource give-aways, snacks and door prizes will be available at the Expo.
